Idols in Idaho

On July 30th, the American Idols were in town and we had the privilege of seeing them in concert. It was absolutely amazing, they put on such a GREAT show. We really didn't know what to expect, since there were 10 Idols we didn't know if everyone would do a couple of solos, or if they would do all group songs or what. They did a little bit of everything, group, duets and solos. They sounded sooooo awesome!!!!!!!
Sometimes people don't sound all that great in person, where as on a cd they can change things with all their fancy equipment they use. But the Idols were great!
It was fun to see the wide range of people in the audience, such a big age range! We had the squealy 10 years olds, the "Oh I'm soooo cool" teenagers, our age, and a lot of elderly people. It was so fun to watch them "get their groove on" while the idols were singing. One little grandma in front of us was really getting into and then she got a wine cooler during the 2nd half of the show, and well she really put on a show for us...hehehe. To funny!!!

Blake did some of his beat-boxin and that was awesome. Lakeisha gave us goosebumps on a couple of songs that she sang and Jordin..wow! Sanjaya got the people screaming for him and it was nuts!!! I have to admit he wasn't to bad, he didn't do anything crazy with his hair during the concert. It was either down or he had a hat on. Melinda was marvelous and really knew how to belt it out.
We had pretty good seats, we were in the 2nd section on the floor. They were good seats, but still not quite close enough. I took a lot of pictures so I probably looked like a freak, but I don't care...only a handful came out nice and clear. They will definitely be fun to scrapbook that is for sure!!!!!

Anyway, if you get the chance to see them, I would highly recommend it. They were fantabulous!!!!!
I posted a few other pics of the concert on my myspace page if you want to check them out.
This was my 2nd season of watching American Idol and I have to say I'm totally hooked on it. Can't wait until January for the new season to start up.
